All our dog walkers have passed enhanced ID verification plus have impeccable references and canine first aid, the majority also have a clean DBS check so can be trusted with your dog and your home.

Yes, you will need to book a whole hour and in fact we encourage 2 hours as minimum as our dog walkers spend a lot of time getting to and from work and it wouldn’t be worth their time for anything less, plus it is good bonding time for your dog and their walker to get to know one another and they can offer good company and play within your home.

We don’t recommend this for the first 2-4 walks as your dog has to learn to trust and listen to your chosen walker, if your dog is used to being off lead and has good recall then your dog walker can go off lead after the 4th walk (or earlier with consent and their own judgment).

On the app we ask you to list the contact number of your vet. If the accident is minor most of our team have a canine first aid certificate and may be able to deal with the situation, but they will immediately call you and if they can’t contact you they will make a decision on whether to take your dog to your nominated vet. If the accident is more serious your dog walker will first get your dog to any emergency vet usually your own vet will be called first, they will then book a taxi to take your dog to the emergency vet calling you on route, your dog walker cannot make any clinical decisions on your behalf such as euthanasia. If your dog walker incurs any additional expenses such as a taxi you will be liable to pay all expenses incurred.
